This is important, I need your help...

For those of you who don't know...I live minutes away from downtown Beamsville. Just days ago there was a devastating fire in our local 2 For 1 Pizza shop. The blaze was called in just before 4am and firefighters fought it until about 7am. If you take a look at the photo...in behind the shops there is a rooftop, well, there was a rooftop. A family lived there. A mother, her daughter and their cat, Mr. Whiskers. We know them. Yep, the mother is an ECE who works with our youngest. The daughter goes to school with our children. This is all very real.

But here's where it gets really tough. The mother was laid off in August...money was a little tight. They didn't have insurance on the contents of their apartment. They need our help.

Think of all your worldly possessions and then think about what you need just to get through a regular day. Imagine replacing it all. All of it. Please help.

School starts in 2 days she only has what was packed in her bag as she was away when this happened, thank God for small favours.
