Feelin' Pouchy?

The kids were a little crazy this morning...it's a long rainy weekend so I think they are starting to feel cooped up! So we started the morning off with this super easy Envelope Pouch...

They loved doing it and then they ran off to show Daddy and I managed to get a quiet moment to myself so I created this Double Pouch...it's really cute and simple to make!

My version used;
Stamps: Embrace Life
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Watercolour Crayons (Taken with Teal & Yoyo Yellow), Rhinestone Brad, Ribbon (DH saved it from a gift he recieved from his colleagues!)

Then while they were off playing I managed to squeeze in this Double Pouch I found the directions for on Amanda's Blog. It's not as hard as it looks and is really cute for dropping packaged treats into for someone special!

Supplies;
Stamps: Embrace Life
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Rhinestone Brad, Watercolour Crayons (Pixie Pink & Yoyo Yellow), Retired SU! DP, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Ribbon

Enjoy!

I'm Buggy for You Valentine!

Well, Buttercup is off to school with her Valentine's Day bag loaded up with her Valentines! Here it is...

She made the bag at the last Creative Kids session and then did her co-ordinating Valentine's when everyone had gone home. I couldn't believe how diligent she was working on them! She had them all done more than a week in advance!!! We just finished off the Cinamon Hearts Sour Cream Containers today with some ribbon and tags for her Teacher and the Educational Assistant in the class.

I hope they enjoy the party today!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Enjoy

Creative Kids - Valentine's Edition

Wow! What a morning! I wanted to snap a few photos of all the action but the class was packed and I was on the run! So, here are a few of the treats the kids created today...

We started off by mixing up our cupcakes, pouring the batter into the cups and getting them into the oven. Then we made our Valentines' (the little bags filled with conversation hearts), had a quick snack, made the Valentine's Totes and finished off by decorating our cupcakes!

Wow! What a whirlwind!

We had children here that were 18months to 6 years old and they all delighted in different parts of the crafts! 10 is definitely our maximum number but they fit into my workshop beautifully!

Enjoy!

Princess Buttercup!

Well, it has been another busy week but I did manage to finish Buttercup's Princess dress for the party today. She was absolutely delighted with it and very excited to be left at a friend's birthday party for the first time.

The dress was made using some fabulous powder blue linen that I got for a great price and Simplicity's Glinda Costume pattern.

Enjoy!
