Sugar Overload!

Last Sunday The Creative Princess and I set out for the Canada Baking and Sweets Show.  We knew we were at the right place when we saw Divco! These wheels belong to The Acts of Sweetness Team from Redpath Sugar!  Boy do we ever love those ladies! They are SO fun. Remember when they came to our Grand Re-opening?

There were cakes at the show, yes, this is a cake!

Cupcakes...yep! That is made all of cupcakes!  The Cake Boss was there!

We stopped by to see our friends from Redpath, Klara Johnson's and we made new friends! We enjoyed samples, samples and more samples!

We did a little shopping...brought home some mini-cake pans, fondant and a few other goodies.  We enjoyed a session with The Bonnie Gordon Cake School.  Boy wouldn't I love to go visit them...sure would make a good present don't you think?  (I wonder if Mr. CB is listening!)

It was a great day...we left very inspired. The Creative Princess has her first cake order and she is pumped!

Sweet Summertime!

Okay, I know that summer is over but this party was a few weeks ago and it was a summery/cottagey kind of theme...of course we started with cupcakes...

 And we did shrink art (flip flops and sand dollars to be exact).

 And soap...mini soaps with charms in them...they looked beautiful when the came out!

We made little cottages for the cupcakes to go home in. It was a glueing nightmare...but boy did the girls ever love them!  The birthday girl's mom was the best...she was a trooper glueing her fingers together while I wrapped up the party...

Nothing like a Friday night full of fun!

Sweet Overload!

And I am NOT talking about my baking here!  I had a group of 4 year olds that were oh SO cute here last week!

 We made shrink art...who doesn't love crowns and rainbows?

 We baked cupcakes and made mini soaps...they were cute too!

Aren't they the sweetest thing???
