Feelin' Pouchy?

The kids were a little crazy this morning...it's a long rainy weekend so I think they are starting to feel cooped up! So we started the morning off with this super easy Envelope Pouch...

They loved doing it and then they ran off to show Daddy and I managed to get a quiet moment to myself so I created this Double Pouch...it's really cute and simple to make!

My version used;
Stamps: Embrace Life
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Watercolour Crayons (Taken with Teal & Yoyo Yellow), Rhinestone Brad, Ribbon (DH saved it from a gift he recieved from his colleagues!)

Then while they were off playing I managed to squeeze in this Double Pouch I found the directions for on Amanda's Blog. It's not as hard as it looks and is really cute for dropping packaged treats into for someone special!

Supplies;
Stamps: Embrace Life
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Rhinestone Brad, Watercolour Crayons (Pixie Pink & Yoyo Yellow), Retired SU! DP, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Ribbon

Enjoy!

The workshops were great yesterday! Everyone seemed to enjoy the class and love my workshop! I needed a quick card for later this week so I thought I would share it with you. We wish them all the best...

Supplies;
Stamps: Happy Harmony, Warmest Regards
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, Old Olive
Accessories: Giga Scallop Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Ribbon

Wild About Criss Cross Cards!

Well, I know that it's been a week but being back to work is time consuming! We had a full weekend with the fair and family so I am finally catching up and fitting some stamping in! So here goes. I have 2 boy birthdays this month (one is on Sunday!) and no cards in site! Well, now I have one and I will complete a tutorial to show you how I did my Paper-Saving Criss Cross Card (I hate using any more paper than necessary!)

I couldn't decide on a clip colour (I am leaning toward green) so I took pictures with both! Here is the card together (with the blue clip);

And apart (with the green clip);

Recipe;
Stamps: Wild About You
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Only Orange
Paper: Creative License SS Kit (Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie), Whisper White
Accessories: Green Apple Ribbon, Spiral Punch, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Paper Clip

Clearly Fun!

Well, I was looking for something to brighten my day so I finally started to cut and mount my Pick a Petal Stamps and created this card which I think is clearly a winner!

This was such a neat technique...I am going to have to go buy some more acetates now! I hope it brings a smile to your face on a rainy day too!

Supplies:
Stamps: Pick a Petal, Warm Words
Ink: Purely Pomegranite, Old Olive, Basic Black, White Craft Ink
Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive
Accessories: Silver Brads, Aqua Painters, Clear Embossing Powder, Ribbon (on inside of card)
I used the embossing powder to dry the craft ink (the first time I did this it was SMEARY!)

Enjoy!

Tag Happy!

It's hard to believe but I forgot to make a card for my Mother-in-law's birthday so to make up for that I started creating and came up with this...

I kept the back simple but I think it's sweet...

I am looking forward to sending this off...I hope she likes it! It was so fun doing this...I did find it challenging to complete all 6 panels though!

To complete this project, I used;

Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Winged Things
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Purely Pomegranite, Summer Sun, Cameo Coral
Paper: Brocade Background, Purely Pomegranite, Naturals Ivory, Vellum
Accessories: Silver Brads, Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Aqua Painters, Giga Scallop Punch, Mega Circle Punch

Enjoy!

Good Morning Sunshine!

We have had a few Birthdays as of late but my favourites are always the children's cards...they seem to be the easiest for me to relate to sometimes! I made this card for a daycare friend of the kids...she loved it (I think her mother may have loved it more though! One of the things I love about this card is that it does not open like a typical card...take a look...

I created this using;
Stamps: Pretty as a Princess
Ink: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Pink Passion, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White and Designer Papers
Accessories: Stampin Pastels, Aqua Painters, Silver Brads
