Cake School!

Wow! I can't believe I am heading into my 3rd day of my cake decorating course already! We are having SO MUCH FUN!!! I don't mind the commute but I have been spoiled with my usual morning commute to my kitchen and/or workshop the last few years!!!On Day 1 we...covered cakes...and we learned a few tricks along the way!
On day 2 we made swags and frills! I didn't photograph my swags (totally forgot) but you can see some on the cake in the back.
We also did some embossing, dry brushing and embellishing! (it's just like scrapbooking, no wonder I love it!)
Oh and we made all these loops on Monday too...they are going to become a bow...looking forward to that transformation as well!
What a lucky girl I am!

Enjoy!

A Very Hungry Caterpillar Celebration - this is only the beginning!

Well, I know some of you have been waiting to see this so I will show you some of the photos I took...I didn't take many so you will have to bear with me and wait for the final edits from our photographer just like us! But you can see some of her shots on her Facebook. We are so looking forward to seeing more!Anyway, here are our invitations...
...and the cupcakes...
We played pin the caterpillar on the apple!
it was blowy and the ground was uneven so it proved entertaining for the adults and the kids alike!
We also made t-shirts...and we loved those results but you will have to wait for the official photos for that! We had fun!

Enjoy!

The answer my friend...

is blowing in the wind.

Indeed...everything happens for a reason even if it's not clear to us. So I am sending a shout-out to my Bimini Friends that sometimes might hang out here. xo
I know...I haven't been around! I have been SO busy! I can't believe how the summer is slipping past yet, so much is happening! We went to camp, came home and then the kids and I went back again! And we dreamt!
We made dream catchers...
...and dream books...
and new friends!
and more new friends!
I had a great time being the craft lady at camp! It was a pleasure to hang out with such a great crew of people. They made us feel welcome...like part of the family...maybe even part of the bunch...the Bimini Bunch.

Miss you all already!

Enjoy!
