I have opened a second class so there is room in both workshops on September 29 from 2-5pm and 6-9pm. This is a one time offer (I can only afford a door crasher once!) so sign-up before September 4th...'cause it's time to order the supplies!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
What did I get you ask? Well, I got 3 Simply Scrapbooking Kits (including Winter Wishes to set up for my upcoming card class), my first Simply Sent Kit, the Hallowe'en Paper (I am so excited about this!), ribbon, stamps from the mini (it's so neat that they are die-cut!!!) and some cardstock to replenish some of my dwindling colours that I need for some projects I have been working on... Watch and you will see some fun creations transform from this pile of 'stuff'!
Enjoy!

The other part that many of you do not know is that Creative Bug is more than a nickname...it's a series of workshops that I have been running for more than a year. My focus has been on children's workshops where we have had children as young as 18 months to 7 years join in for some creative craziness! So, Buttercup has learned a lot in the last year and loves all things to do with creativity! We are very much looking forward to getting Creative Kids up and running again but it has been delayed until the New Year when we are hoping to have the Workshop set-up. Until then Creative Adults is getting a bit of a head start with a few little workshops over the next few months.
Check back for more details!

This was a ton of fun to create!!! So I hope you like it too!Supplies used;

Ink: YoYo Yellow, Pink Passion, Only Orange, Certainly Celery
Paper: YoYo Yellow, Pink Passion, Only Orange, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Silver Brads, Certainly Celery Ribbon
Then, in my blog hiking what did I find but a cool blog that gives you layouts and samples following those layouts. So, here is where I have gotten so far with my attempt as I need to have a picture of the final product printed (I didn't have just the right shot) and add it as well as a title...I am hoping to 'watch' my mother's Cricut sometime soon so that I can do some titles!

This one was very popular with the kids...the Seeing Spots background could be replaced with snowflakes (once I have recieved my order!)
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Letterpress Alphabet, Snow Play, Seeing Spots

Paper: Real Red, Glorious Green, Whisper White

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Warm Words
Ink: Old Olive, Purely Pomegranite
Paper: Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Certainly Celery Ribbon
This was such a neat technique...I am going to have to go buy some more acetates now! I hope it brings a smile to your face on a rainy day too!

I used the embossing powder to dry the craft ink (the first time I did this it was SMEARY!)

and...the bottom layer...

I am still working on it but I am quite pleased at the work I have completed thus far with very little complaint...outside of my DH complaining about the mess!
I am hoping this is going to be a beauty as it is for someone special...so I will post some more tomorrow but you will have to wait for final assembly...(I'm afraid we all will)
Enjoy and have a great night!

I just love Baroque Motifs...there is something about it...it just catches my eye everytime I open my cupboard...all of my other stamps are feeling neglected these days!
The kids loved it!!! Everytime I make one a new cake, there is always a new lesson in it for me! Just one more cake for this weekend and then I am going to take a cake break!
And a closer look if you want details...
I had so much fun creating these! Here are the details;
